The smart design of the Potty Sniffer system allows for individual Sniffer pumps to be joined together to form a pump cluster that can be installed centrally within a home or commercial building. Sniffer pump clusters can share power and combine exhaust air into a single 1/2″ tubing line that connects to sanitary DWV plumbing pipes or vented directly outside. Toilets can be located 100′ away using 1/2″ O.D. low density polyethylene tubing LDPE for the main tubing runs and transitioning back to 3/8″ flexible PVC for toilet and pump connections. A single power supply provides safe 12VDC power to each pump from a single 120VAC outlet.
By locating the Sniffer pump cluster with the home’s standard HVAC equipment or in the garage, each bathroom can be provided with silent and effective toilet odor ventilation while minimizing the number of exhaust points and power outlets required for whole home coverage. An optional motion sensor kit can be used to turn the system ON automatically and operate invisibly to the user.
A Sniffer system if more effective than a regular bathroom fan for eliminating odors is the perfect solution for powder rooms and water closets. A Sniffer system is less expensive to install than a bathroom exhaust fan and can reduce the number of exterior wall penetrations for bathroom venting.
