We recommend a remote sniffer pump installation whenever possible for quieter operation and to accommodate toilets with limited tank space.
An in-tank pump install may be used if locating it remotely is not an option and there is enough space in the tank for both the air intake shroud and Sniffer pump. Hanger clips for the straight and circular sides of the Sniffer pump are included with each install kit.
In-Tank Sniffer Pump and Air Intake Shroud Fitment
The Sniffer pump and intake shroud will fit most standard toilet tank models and may be positioned inside the tank in whatever manner fits best. PDF drawings below can be printed and fitment templates cut out to help confirm Potty Sniffer fitment in your existing toilet tank. The PS25D Sniffer pump is slightly larger than a six-inch smart phone.

The Sniffer pump and intake shroud can be oriented and positioned in the manner that best fits your toilet tank design.
If there is not enough space in the toilet tank for the Sniffer pump, a remote installation of the pump can be used instead.
The Sniffer pump can also be positioned directly behind the toilet.
