Kit option to swap a standard overflow pipe air intake shroud for a MANSFIELD® style air intake shroud. This option must be purchased along with a FULL or BASIC Potty Sniffer system kit for a standard overflow pipe equipped toilet.
Air intake shroud assembly for toilets equipped with MANSFIELD style flush valve.
MANSFIELD® flush valve equipped toilets use a special canister style air intake shroud design that encapsulates the top of the flush valve body lifting ring and overflow opening.
Fits 210 and 211 style flush valves (including earlier versions). Older Mansfield toilets equipped with ballcock fill valves can be upgraded to use a modern fill valve for Sniffer system compatibility.
IMPORTANT REQUIREMENT: The Mansfield flush valve must be converted to use a regular flapper chain for flushing in order to work with a Potty Sniffer air intake shroud.
The original Mansfield flush handle lever needs to be replaced with a conventional lever (or modified) to accept a chain attachment clip. Mansfield flush valves will typically include a backup chain attachment eyelet on the opposite side of the lifting ring that can be used for the conversion.
Our Mansfield air intake solution includes an offset chain eyelet bracket that can be used to move the eyelet position further outboard in case additional spacing is needed for the chain to clear the air intake shroud.
